The tadpoles are getting alot bigger. They are growing fast! They are getting so lumpy. They look like little beads. They rest alot and do not swim alot. Sometimes they rest on underwater rocks.

Thanks for looking at our blog! We are sad that the tadpoles have died. But it makes us feel happy that you sent us a letter.

When we were children ourselves, we loved to collect frog or toad spawn from the ponds, and put it into water in old jam jars with string handles. We always had some water weed in too, and usually the eggs hatched into tadpoles. Sadly they didn't often develop well, probably because the jar was so small the water became stagnant.
