The turtles came yesterday. One turtle was taking a shower and fell off the rock. This picture shows them climbing on top of each other on the rock in the tank.

We got turtles , there are two of them. They are Red Eared sliders. Turtles like to swim a lot. I notice that one is lighter then the other.

The tadpoles are getting alot bigger. They are growing fast! They are getting so lumpy. They look like little beads. They rest alot and do not swim alot. Sometimes they rest on underwater rocks.

In our pond we got tadpoles. Soon they will turn into frogs. But some will not turn into frogs. We have alot of tadpoles. Some may die but thats ok. They kind of look like mice. In the picture you can see they're swiming. Thats ok but baby tadpoles need lots of sleep. So they can get strong and live.

We've begun setting up our pond. We decided that the nonliving elements we would need included rocks, sand, mud, and water. We collected rocks and mud from oustide and this is a picture of Miss Paton pouring in the sand. In the second picture, you can see that somebody hitched a ride! A slug is the first inhabitant of our pond. We can't wait to share this exciting adventure with you.
